You have, perhaps unconsciously, rubbed salt in a wound. Some people do smile, but with their hearts hiding a sort of hatred that is too awful for words. Such smiles fail to cover what their chests conceal. A smile is not only that facial expression that mechanically occurs when muscles flex both ends of the mouth. It should, as I believe, mirror the internal spiritual purity that one may hold.
